Pharmacist’s Assistant Post-Basic

Pharmacist’s Assistant Post-Basic cards expired in January 2015. The SAPC embarked on a project to reprint all their cards in March 2015. SMSs were sent to all active post-basic pharmacist’s assistants requesting them to update their courier addresses and photos on the SAPC secure site. To date, Council has reprinted 4 100 post-basic cards, which are now valid until 2018.

Other Categories

Council endeavours to complete printing 11 150 cards for other pharmacy categories whose cards expire in 2015. Currently cards for Leaner Post-Basic Assistants are being printed. Learner Basic and Qualified Basic will also be printed.

Newly registered assistants and those who have yet to receive cards must ensure they update their courier addresses and photos on the website, or email their photos.

If a card is lost or damaged you can apply for a replacement card by obtaining an application form for ‘re-issuing of card’ on the SAPC website and submit the completed form.
