Manager: Professional Affairs (CPD, Pre-registrations and Registrations)

Kamohelo Malaku, prior to joining Council, was employed at the National Department of Health as a pharmaceutical policy specialist (Essential Drug Programme). She was also the deputy manager: pharmaceutical services at Mpumalanga Pharmaceutical Depot and pharmacy manager at Elizabeth Ross Hospital in the Free State. She holds a BPharm degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Kamohelo says: “I am honoured to work for the South African Pharmacy Council and hope to make a meaningful contribution to the profession.”

Manager: Professional Affairs (Practice)

Tebogo Madigoe, prior to being appointed by Council, practised as a quality assurance pharmacist in distribution at Adcock Ingram Midrand Distribution Centre. She holds a BPharm degree from the University of the North (UNIN), now known as the University of Limpopo (Turfloop Campus). She has also worked as a drug and utilisation review pharmacist for Metropolitan. Teboga says: “I believe in team spirit, together we can provide quality services.”

Supply Chain Management Controller (Finance Department)

Mpho Shisana has been promoted to the position of supply chain management controller. He joined Council in November 2008 as an administration officer and is passionate about working in a challenging environment. Mpho is grateful to all who have supported him over the years. “Where the will of God leads you, the grace of God will keep you,” says Mpho.

Secretarial Support: Legal Services & Professional Conduct

Natalie Urban is the newly appointed secretarial support officer: Legal Services and Professional Conduct Department. Before joining Council, Natalie ran a digital marketing company for two years. She previously assisted Council in a temporary capacity during 2010 and 2011. Natalie says: “I am excited to be a part of this company once again and will do my best to serve the Council with excellence.”

Information Technology Assistant

Maggy Maisela, prior to being appointed by Council, was employed as a junior EPM technical consultant at Kwezi Software Solutions. She has worked as a business development intern at IDC, where she was mentored by project managers and business analysts, and as an IT service desk agent at T-System SA. Maggy holds a BCom Informatics (Information Systems and Business Management) from UNISA and a BCom Hons Informatics from UJ. She is responsible for the IT helpdesk/service desk and also provides ICT administrative and secretarial support. She hopes her presence will enhance Council’s service delivery.

Logistics Clerk (Communication and Stakeholder Relations)

Tshireletso Mokono was appointed as a logistics clerk on 1 June 2015. She is responsible for the effective and efficient mailing and courier services and ensuring, when required, the transfer of processing documents/files for archiving and retrieval. Before joining Council she worked as an outpatient clerk at Mamelodi Day Hospital. Tshireletso says: “It is an honour and privilege for me to work at the South African Pharmacy Council and I hope to make an effective contribution to this company and be part of the winning team.”

John Lesufi
Supply Chain Management Officer (Finance Department)

John Lesufi is the newly appointed supply chain management officer. He joined Council in November 2015. John is responsible for assisting with the administrative function for the supply chain management processes in line with Council policies, value for money and best practice. Before he joined Council, John worked as an inventory controller at Imperial Retail Logistics. He says: “It is an honour and privilege for me to work at the Council and I hope and believe that with team work I will make a great contribution and become an asset to this organisation.”

Finance Accounts Officer (Finance Department)

Boipelo Swaratlhe is the newly appointed finance accounts officer. He joined Council in July 2015 and holds a National Diploma in Financial Accounting from Boston Business Colllege. Before joining Council Boipelo worked as a service centre operator at Edcon stores. “It is an honour for me to work for the South African Pharmacy Council and I am hoping to play a part in upholding the image of this organisation,” says Boipelo.

IT Technician (Information Technology Department)

Liza Mangoale was appointed by Council as an IT technician. She holds a National Diploma: IT Communication Networks from the Tshwane University of Technology. Liza previously worked as a field service engineer at Gijima. She says: “Joining the South African Pharmacy Council is a great opportunity and it is a platform for transforming my knowledge into work experience. I am looking forward to sharing my efforts to help the organisation achieve success.”

Customer Care – Contact Centre Agent (Communication and Stakeholder Relations)

Stephina Mogotsi was appointed as a customer care contact agent on 1 October 2014. She has a National Diploma in Management Assistant from Tshwane North College. “It is a great honour to be part of the Pharmacy Council team and I look forward to many years of growth and excellent service delivery to everyone,” says Stephina.

Customer Care – Contact Centre Agent (Communication and Stakeholder Relations)

Tebogo Mnisi was appointed as a customer care contact agent in October 2014. She has a National Diploma in Management Assistant from Tshwane North College. Prior to her appointment, Tebogo worked as a personal assistant at Mokopane Provincial Hospital. She says: “It is an honour for me to work at the South African Pharmacy Council and to improve service delivery to valued clients in the pharmacy profession.”
